LIGHT: These are my lampshades in my living room. I love them..I like the fact they create these weird and wonderful patterns of light on the ceiling and they fit in with my "Earthy" living room. My husband on the other hand hates them....which makes me like them more!...tee hee!!

Fireworks night tonight! Yay! I lurve going to a display. We went to one in Basingstoke which is not as good as the normal one I go too but still fun times! Remember Remember The Fith of November...Gun Powder...Treason & Plot!

Just wanted to show you my GIRL POWER!!! This is the inside of my Washing machine. For the last few days it would not spin and the water wouldn't empty and it made a weird cranking noise as it tried to spin and it took forever for the door to let me open it. Well I decided to "have a look" at it myself and got the tool kit out. To my surprise I MANAGED TO FIX IT!! big cheesy "look at me I am clever" grins. Not only does the little princess spin like mad because I re-fitted the belt...but see the little green wire in the motor..that became detached and I managed to re-wire it back together again! I think I may have chosen the wrong career! I am definitely my fathers daughter ( Helicopter Engineer ) I am just going to email him now to tell him what his little princess has managed to do all by her big girl self! :o)

Tried top make Meatloaf for my husband today. Went and bought the loaf tray especially for the event. This is it before it went into the oven. I am too ashamed to post the after picture as it was not sliceable at all :o( my husband said it tasted like meatloaf..but wasn't very "loafy" what a disaster. Shame as it tasted good but looked Spesh-al! We conclude that it was possibly because I put mushrooms in it. Nevermind.......I had fun making a huge mess in my kitchen!

This is me in the wee small hours of Saturday morning at a Halloween party with a friend of mine Claire..who I have not seen since my wedding day so we were putting the worlds to rights :o) Me and my husband went to this party. I have to say we looked really cool!! I am Spiderella by the way :o)

Me and a work colleague wore pink today in order to raise money for Breast Cancer. I am the one with the chicken feet slippers. I am wearing pink I promise!! The camera has made my PJs look white! It was a good day once you got past people looking at you like a escapee from a mental asylum! You have to excuse the bright pink square in the background. It was my naff attempt to hide my company details!

A treat from the Big Boss. Needless to say..they were demolished in about 5 minutes. The brain ones were really gooood! They had a jammy filling that was supposed to be blood! Mwah haha ahahahaha!!!!!

Went to a cheese and wine party with my husbands new friends. It was really good. I met some really interesting, funny and witty people. Had a good evening but it was a late one by the time we got home it was nearly 1am! As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out cold asleep.

One of my old candidates who I placed in a job about 3 years ago came into see me. Just to come and say hello. He bought me some Luxury Hot Chocolate from the company he works for to say thank you, as he is doing really well at his job and has progressed really far within the company and had a promotion to a very senior level today. How nice to be remembered! I was really stoked he did this.. :o)
